TheRumLab is eager to commemorate the 4th Los Angeles Rum Fest (Pop-Up) with you in the greatest rum city of the Americas.

TheRumLab.com is proud to celebrate the 4th Los Angeles Rum Fest (Pop-Up) aka California Rum Fest SoCal Edition. The boutique-style event will showcase a handful of brands that emphasize the education and premiumization of the rum category.

Join us at the Haas Builsing DTLA (ROOF TOP) – 219 W 7th St, Los Angeles on September 11th, 2025.

The USA is considered one of the most important countries for the entire rum industry. Before the American Revolution, rum was the most consumed spirit, and now an awakening is occurring. The state of California by itself is one of the largest rum consumer markets in the USA.

TheRumLab team is the producer of the Puerto Rico Rum Fest “Taste of Rum”, California, the Chicago Rum Festival, Texas Rum Fest, and the Miami Rum Congress. All events attract hundreds of people from trade, rum aficionados, tourists, & locals.

What to expect: Thursday offers the opportunity to learn in depth about rums with a small amount of Rum Nerds (like us). 

SESSION #1 - VIP RUM EXPERTS - Grand Tasting Session

VIP RUM EXPERT Sessions | 4:30pm – 10:00pm

Audience: RUM AFICIONADOS & EXPERTS (Industry professionals & General Consumers)

Details: Consists of a 5.5-hour program offering the attendees the opportunity to:

  • 2.5 hours early admission
  • Exclusive tasting cup
  • Taste premium rums
  • Attend brand seminars (RSVP only as space is limited.)

SESSION #2 - INDUSTRY TRADE - Grand Tasting Session

INDUSTRY TRADE: Grand Tasting Session | 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Audience: Members of the trade such as F&B, DISTILLERY, BARTENDER, IMPORT, DISTRIBUTION, MARKETING, ETC

Details: Consists of a 1.5-hour program offering industry professionals the opportunity to:

  • Network with the brand representative
  • Taste premium rums
  • Attend brand seminars (RSVP only as space is limited. More details soon)
  • Mingle with industry colleagues

Details: Consists of a 3-hour program offering the attendees the opportunity to:

  • 3oz souvenir cup
  • Taste premium rums
  • Automatic participation to DaiquiriMANIA Hours (8:00 pm – 10:00 pm)

DaiquiriMANIA | 8:00pm – 10:00pm

Audience: General consumers interested in cocktails and learning more about rum.

What to expect:

DaiquiriMANIA is a new program TheRumLab will be launching in 2025 during the Intro to Rum Session, which will take place during the GRAND TASTING SESSION.

This session will be a vibrant celebration of the classic daiquiri cocktail, reimagined with a modern twist and set to the nostalgic beats of retro music.

The concept should bring together rum enthusiasts, cocktail lovers, and music aficionados for a night of delicious drinks and unforgettable tunes.

Price: Early Bird: $35.00 (limited quantity) | Regular Price: $45.00

Tickets: After completing your purchase on Eventbrite, you will receive an email confirmation with your attached PDF ticket(s).  You MUST print and bring your PDF tickets AND VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICATION to be admitted to the event.

Ticket Transfer Policy: You may gain entry to the event even if your name is not on your ticket ONLY so long as the barcode is scannable. Los Angeles Rum Fest &/or its associates is not responsible if ticket(s) cannot be scanned and the order is under a different name than the person presenting the ticket.

Dress Code: All attendees must have the proper attire to enter the event. Beach clothing like bikinis, bathing suits, etc is not allowed. Management has the full right to deny entry to guests whose dress code could be considered inappropriate. Management will advise guests on alternatives or recommendations to be allowed entry to the event.

  1. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes, a Legal ID. Must be 21 Years or over to attend.
  2. I am part of the Trade, and I am buying a Trade Session ticket. Can I stay for other sessions? No.  Each session requires its corresponding individual ticket.
  3. What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event? Best option: Lyft or Uber. Parking around the hotel is very complicated.
  4. For parking options: There is a public parking space near the venue. (Be responsible, don’t drink & drive.) | The Hotel Offers valet, but it’s very limited.
  5. Dress code requirements? It’s late spring, so please come relaxed yet ready to go to another venue afterward if you so choose.
  6. Which session should I attend? Either session will be great and fun for any type of beverage enthusiast! We can gladly help with further questions, contact us.
